*Many of you that listen to RFW or have been to my home over the past 11 years have seen Diva - a true doggy starlet in many ways. After a quick spreading and very painful bone cancer set in, we made the hard decision to say goodbye. A real companion to our entire family - we will always love her very much. This show was inspired by and is dedicated to you, girl.

As Richard finally opens the door to The Wohlman Archives, we find Jack McVea And His Allstars as well as three other dicks in the guise of Richard Hell & The Voidoids, Richard Lloyd and Richard Thomson; participate in some random destruction incited by The Vibrators, Metallica and How To Destroy Angels and bet against black with Russell Mills, Rush, Jimi Hendrix and The Reds!

*Although such heavyweights as Louis Jordan and Count Bassie eventually had top ten hits with it, "Open The Door, Richard!" was first brought to the top position on the Billboard Honor Roll of Hits in 1947 by sax man Jack McVea and his well-dressed and well-armed band of allstars. Dylan and The Band also tipped their collective hat to the toe-tapper with "Open The Door, Homer" as found on The Basement Tapes!

Coach Thom Lane, one of my oldest radio brothers (literally), once promoted my upcoming air-shift by announcing that the listeners of WMBR, Cambridge should stay tuned because  "Dave Wohlman has been warming up for his show by beating up folk-singers on the Charles River Esplanade". Although that memorable quip was not far off the mark, one of the most fun parts of RFW is never being predictable. With that said, enjoy the JA leanings of Ryuichi Sakamoto, Bill Laswell, Major Lazer, The Paragons, Cornell Campbell, Johnny Osbourne and Andy Fairweather Low. The sound then shifts to the connected trio of Amen Corner, The Move and Roy Wood . Followed by the pastoral pastiche of Fairport Convention, Fotheringay, Sandy Denny and Robert Plant & Alison Krauss. "Sorry"!
