Hey there, RFW.

I saw Deep Purple's tour for "Perfect Strangers," too. I was a junior in high school and I thank god for my older siblings, who had introduced me to Machine Head when I was just a toddler!

However, I need to make a correction. Purple played the Cow Palace for this tour, not Shoreline as you had indicated on your program. I still have my ticket stub from that show... unless they played two dates. This was the first show I went to where I was completely sober! Plus that was the first time I witnessed the "rodeo room." The place they took people who had too much to drink or ate too much LSD or mushrooms. Why I went in there to investigate, I'll never know.

In any event, I very much enjoyed this transmission. You have such great taste in music as you bounce from genre to genre. Very tasty.

Be well and keep funking in the ear hole!

Me.. yeah, me!

Hi Me,

Hi Me

I am that you are correct about the Cow Palace as I remember that show as well. They played Shoreline a few years later still leaning on material from Perfect Stranger.

Thanks for your memory - mine is gone!

Ahhhh.. I see. Milking the tour cow for all it is worth.

Purple played a club in San Francisco about three years ago, still pedding the same tune as per usual. Great show, I might add.

Thanks for the response.
