Transmission 616 - God Moves, Falls And Rises

Usually, He is gracious enough to allow things to die, but once.
Although that is obviously not always the case.

The second coming of a legendary Boston radio station, WBCN Free Form Rock - which I was a part of, was shut down yesterday. This only added to the grief caused by ongoing and impacting deaths of musical innovators so far in 2016.

I force myself to remember that all things must pass and with every end,
comes a new beginning.

The following 3 hour show is the aborted playlist that was in progress, but never fully aired on the last show of this rule-breaking, musically adventurous institution. My love and highest regards go out to my fellow staff members and all our listeners.

Meanwhile, the torch shines brightly on RFW!

*It was a honor and a pleasure to be in such company as the people who worked at WBCN, Boston thru the years and the family of the newest incarnation -
Sam  Kopper, Destiny Curtis,
Adam Luciano and Mitch!
I had a great time - but you
can't drive forward looking in the rear-view mirror
 - right?

Let's Rise!

Sorry to hear that the radio station you were part of had to close down. I never had the opporunity to listen to WBCN, as I live in other corners of the world. But well programmed radio shows are a rarity everywhere and it is a great pity that another one has disappeared.
Thanks for making these playlists available.
