*The "grape" songs bunched together in today's Transmission
were squeezed out courtesy of the
Boston Wine Expo
which was once again an overwhelming success February 18 &19 at the
Seaport Hotel and World Trade Center!

This annual event just gets better with each vintage, surpassing the past achievement of supplying all that attended with a wide-array of booths from excellent wineries
located around the world - proudly sampling their best!

To this discriminating palate, there were hundreds of wines that deserved serious consideration
for the distinction of RFW Best Of Show 2017,
but that coveted title goes to the wonderful
one of the five unique labels proudly presided over by Austin Hope and
Hope Family Wines in Paso Robles, CA.

Special mention goes out to
founded and operated in Healdsburg, CA.
by Andrew Tow, seen below with my trusted
co-taster and expert in all things wine-related, Tracy!

One of the best parts of this crowd-pleasing event is the inclusion of foods that
blend perfectly with the art of enjoying wine. Our favorite this year was
whose Pheasant & Rosemary Pate is beyond description!

Finally, the most fun we had out of the hundreds of booths visited was courtesy of
Who knew I was so good with a brush - or was it the wine and company (?)

For really BIG fun, meet RFW next year at
