Transmission 13411

This one started with Keith Olbermann reporting on Occupation (fill in the blank). As I watched clips of various current day law enforcement officers around the world kicking the shit out of protesters, Chicago, 1969 started echoing in my head and I was compelled to use the iconic chant in a musical context.

The resulting RFW WWW Suite is an improv of motive and sound featuring Terje Rypdal, Chaos Face, David Bowie, Derek Bailey & DJ Ninj , Automaton, Billy Cobham, Miles Davis translated by Bill Laswell, Terry Kath of/off Chicago Transit Authority, the 99% in '69, Dubadelic, Brian Eno, The Rolling Stones remixed by The Neptunes and Klaus Schulze.

T13411 is a 145mb 320k mp3 1:03:36 in length made loud to be played louder!

*In the confusion trying to figure out "what just happened(?)" I neglected to mention that the suite included Miles Davis retranslated by Bill Laswell ("On The Corner") and Brian Eno ("Fractal Nerve").

**I originally recorded and posted this one at high quality on 11/9/11. With such a great low end going, I wanted to hear the difference (or not). Do you notice anything that much better? Transmission 13411 came about very spontaniously, it was actually 5 minutes from the thought of the Chicago Democractic Convention in '69 to hitting the record button.

Cops, as a rule, kick far too much ass, with far too little provocation, for my liking.

My home of Minneapolis, Minnesota has had three years running of cops making the news for asskickings and the city having to pay out to settle.

I support peaceful dispute resolution. And Radio Free Wohlman.

Reggie - the situation is a cat-astrophy. Glad your master lets you listen every week!
