Transmission 507

The Fillmore East and West were the places to play in the US. In the late 60's and early 70's, no proper tour of the States would be complete without playing at Bill Graham's bi-coastal concert ballrooms. When they closed in 1971, the final shows were documented in the multi-record box set and film, Fillmore - The Last Days.

The centerpiece of today's transmission is from that last week at the Fillmore West. On June 30th, Boz Scaggs, fresh out of The Steve Miller Band, and band performed at the height of their powers. Also out of TheWohlman Concert Archives, I give to you live U2 from Boston's Paradise Theater in March of 1981 and The Who at The Isle Of Wight Festival in 1970. The hour is also overflowing with music from Robin Trower, The Ramones, The Steve Miller Band with Paul Ramon(?), Paul McCartney, The Undertones, real Journey and early Santana with Neil Schon! Now we're rocking!

T507 is a 56.5MB 128k mp3 1:01:43 in length made loud to be played loud!
