(They) offered lucrative jobs, houses and cars to radio veterans, such as myself, so we would be tricked into carrying out their sinister plot. In the end, I led a rag-tag motley crew of terrestrial radio resistant misfits into battle - killed the malignant Program Director, blew up the main transmitter, stopped the zombies and saved the world! I smell a movie!

All this week at WMBR, Cambridge , past and present colleagues are celebrating the 30th Anniversary of The Late Riser's Club , of which I was an original host back in 1977. After listening to yesterday's show featuring my old friends Greg Reibman, Albert O and Blowfish and doing a 34 minute cameo today (download here), I am flooded with memories of my early days of radio, playing punk and it's various offshoots in the basement studios on the MIT campus.
