Transmission 7907

The spotlight is on Christine (Perfect) McVie*! I was and still am a sucker for her voice and here you can hear why. Inside, I feature music from Chicken Shack, Fleetwood Mac and her solo career as both Ms. Perfect and McVie. And that's not all - Aerosmith rocks The Joint with the Mac's Rattle Snake Shake and the Shaking continues with Otis Redding, The Five Du-Tones, Junior Walker & The All Stars, and The Swinging Blue Jeans. We close things up with a wild blend of O'Rang, Chroma Chord and Wire. Perfect!

T7907 is a 57.5MB 128k mp3 1:02:54 in length made loud to be played loud!

*Christine Anne Perfect was born on July 12, 1943 in Birmingham, England. A breakout star with the late sixties English blues band Chicken Shack, she recorded The Legendary Christine Perfect LP in 1970. After meeting and marrying bass player John McVie, and with the subsequent leaving of Peter Green, she joined him in his namesake band Fleetwood Mac, playing her first official gig as a member in New Orleans on August 8, 1970. Her amazing musical tenure in Fleetwood Mac was finally validated with their 1998 induction into Cleveland's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The band was also awarded with a Lifetime Achievement nod at the Brit Awards, and received several Grammy nominations for "The Dance".
