Transmission 2007

As I say in today's Punky transmission of RFW, my musical taste did not change in the mid-70's, so much as it got it's teeth knocked in! The upheaval in the US, England and around the world was a warning shot over the heads of music fans everywhere. Wake up! Go back into the garage. Get back to the basics. Do it yourself! 32 years later, it's funny trying to understand what everyone was so afraid of. Everything that has happened since then has taken the shock out of the original 1975-1979 scene, but not the awe! This is the music that saved both rock and roll - the real deal - Punk!

I played this show so loud my ears are ringing - get ready for La Peste, Dead Boys, X, The Sex Pistols, The Jam, The Buzzcocks, Blondie, The Real Kids, Richard Hell & The Voidoids, The Records, The Clash, The Damned, Generation X, Stiff Little Fingers, The Saints, The Vibrators, Sham 69, The Adverts, The Stranglers, and 999!

T2007 is a 62MB 128k mp3 1:07:47 in length made loud to be played loud!
