I took a fictitious couple by the name of Mary & James, for our visual aid we went with Mary Queen Of Scotts and Jim Backus (Mary Tyler-Moore and James T. Kirk were a close second), and constructed a hour of music for each that is either about them or performed by other Marys and James', Jims and Jimmys.

The Jimmy side of things gets a funky start from James Blood Ulmer, James Brown, James & Bobby Purify, Jim O'Rourke, James Carter, Jimmy Cliff, Jimmy Rogers, Funkadelic, Jimi Hendrix, Martha & The Vandelas, The Doors, The Jim Carroll Band, Pete Townshend and The Soundtrack Of Our Lives.
