Transmission 8411

The sound changes as Danny Torrence's Big Wheels bike goes from carpet to hard-wood floor in the corridor of the The Outlook Hotel. The sound of fear is palatable in the voice of Wendy Torrence warning her husband as she wields a baseball bat and the sound of Jack Torrence typing all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy is just as chilling as his subtle demonic transformation. These moments and the entire film The Shining are a testament to the skill and creativity of Stanley Kubric and his highly talented staff of movie makers, but Stephen King always creates sounds of the most effective form. Those conjured by the brain from the words written by his fantastic imagination!

A musical tribute to Stephen King, The RFW Shining Suite includes apt selections by Grand Funk, Siouxsie & The Banshees, Ramones, Prodigy, Mink DeVille, The Beatles, The Kinks, Uncle Tupelo, Genesis, John Foxx & The Maths, Foghat, Captain Ilor and Humble Pie along with dialog from the 1980 film by Jack Nicholson, Shelly Duvall, Danny Lloyd, Scatman Cruthers and Anne Jackson!

T8411 is a 62.9mb 128k mp3 1:08:47 in length made loud to be played loud!
